Welcome to the Abusive Relationship Awareness Blog Hop. While this may not be your typical blog hop theme, we decided to put together this hop in order to shed light on a topic that often goes unspoken about, when the truth is many of us have either been in an abusive relationship or know of someone who has. We're here not to celebrate abusive relationships, but to bring hope to those who have been firsthand or secondhand victims and to provide awareness to help put an end to this growing problem.
All of our projects showcased in this hop have something to do with hope, love, and encouragement. The color for domestic violence is purple, and as you'll see purple was used on many of our projects.
For my project I created an inspirational card to provide hope for those who have experienced either an abusive relationship or domestic violence.

This is such a great hop. I lost a cousin to an Abusive Relationship. She went home with the cops and her boy friend shot her in the head. He ended up dead because he he ran and he shot at the police offices and they killed him. Its so sad and as women and men we really need to wake up and know when its enough before its to late. Sadly it was to late for my cousin. She left behind a wonderful now 10 year old. Thanks so much for this hop this hits home for me. Blessing and you did a great job on your card. TFS AJ~
