Heat Embossing Challenge

It's technique week here at Made Especially For You! This week's challenge is to use the technique of heat embossing on a card.

I used the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge to make my challenge card for this week. The cute little birthday birdie is cut at 2.5" in with a white shadow. I paired him with some fun, cool-colored papers from the Bold Basics paper pad by Recollections added the heat-embossed 'Got Birthday?' sentiment and finished it off with the white bow and brads. :)
