Hot Shot - WYEGW

Welcome to another segment of Would You Every Guess Wednesday at My Cricut Craft Room! This week's WYEGW is all about using the phrase feature on Cricut cartridges.

I decided to use the 'Hot Shot' phrase from the 3 Birds on Parade cartridge since I mainly use the cuts from the cartridge and not the phrases. I think the phrase feature is great for when they can be cut large, but they can be hard to use on cards since they have to be cut so tiny. I do try to use them as often as I can, though. :)

The basketball/net image is cut from the Father's Day cartridge. I propped up the basketball a little bit using a couple of pop dots to make it look like it was being tossed into the net. The stars are actually chipboard that I painted with orange acrylic paint and then used chipboard pieces for the # and 7, which is my favorite number. :) Even though the card is rather simple I love the way it turned out. I definitely think it would be a great card to make if you had to make a lot of them for an entire sports team, and then you can personalize them with everybody's number.

Stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what other phrases the design team has used on their projects this week!
