Whimsical Wednesday Shaped Card Challenge

Happy Hump Day! What a crazy week this has been - I've hardly had any time to craft, which is not good for my mood. :) As some of you may know, I'm a student, and the last month or so of the semester tends to be the most stressful with turning those big projects in and getting ready for finals. Plus, with the weather finally starting to get nice, I'm like a little kid in school again itching to get out for summer break and enjoy the sunshine. I'm so done with homework, studying, sitting in class, and ready to spend my days outdoors and getting lots of crafty projects completed. :)

Thankfully I'm still ahead of the game with DT projects, so no stress there. :) Creating is the one thing that relaxes me and relieves my stress, and I would hate for it to be another source of stress, so I try and stay ahead to avoid having to make last-minute projects. So far, so good! *Knocking on wood* :)

I created this card for the shaped card challenge this week at Whimsical Designs. I love making shaped cards! They're so much fun and people are definitely surprised when they receive a non-traditional sized card. Always fun to change things up a bit. :)

I cut the card using the cloud cut from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge. Paper is from Recollections and I outlined the border of the cloud with Crystal Ice Stickles, and filled in the angel's shawl with the same Stickles as well. I colored her with my Copics, and used colors Y11, Y13, Y15, E00, E01, BG11, and R20. She's cut using the print and cut feature with my Cameo. For embellishments, I added some pink and yellow twine from The Twinery and some CANDi pieces. Sentiment is from the "Everyday Sentiments" set from Whimsical Designs, the heart is from the "With Love" set.

The image on this card is from Creative Bug On The Loose, who just happens to be our sponsor this week! One lucky winner will receive not only the image I used on my card, but the entire set!

Thanks for stopping by!
Now go outside and enjoy the sunshine for me while I'm stuck in class. :)
