Live Out Loud

Oh how I wish I could be on the beach with this beauty from Saturated Canary! We're still in the "almost-spring" stage here in Illinois, we have a nice day here and there and then it goes back to being chilly. Mother Nature does not understand that Ashley has spring fever! It's in the 50's this week.. I hope that means we're about to transition into full blown spring. 

This beach babe is "Cali Girl" from Saturated Canary - I just love her hair! Papers are from My Mind's Eye and the card is 5.5" by 5.5" The sentiment is of course from Whimsical Deigns.

These flowers were originally a pale yellow, but I colored them with my Copics so they better matched the paper. I used the same colors as I used for her hair - Y13, Y15, Y19, - and added a touch of Yellow Stickles to the centers. 

I used some 3 Girl Jam crinkle ribbon and pearls from my stash as accents on the card.

I've been wanting to start a Copic collection for a while now but unfortunately they're a bit out of my price range at the moment. I thought this contest would be a super fun way for me to try and win some, especially because I love Pinterest!

The way the contest works is you have to set up a board on your Pinterest account specifically for the contest, and then pin at least 1 image inspired by the prompts in the graphic above. So easy and fun! Then, the person whose contest boards receives the most total repins from all the pinned images combined wins the Copics!

To help me in the contest, all you have to do is REPIN images from THIS board on my Pinterest account! The board is about all of my favorite things, from crafts, to color combos, to food, and even my favorite animal. :)
