For my blog hop project, I created a card using the Courage Is My Strength stamp set.

I had the perfect butterfly paper to use with the 'hope' butterfly stamp and was excited to try out the blue, orange, and green color combo for the first time!

Here's what I used to make my card:

- Butterfly patterned paper from Recollections

- Green polka dot paper from The Paper Studio

- Solid black and white card stock

- {ippity} butterfly stamp (colored with Prismacolor pencils)

- Tim Holtz Distress Ink (in tuxedo black)

- Black buttons and rhinestones

I'm An I Heart {ippity} Guest Designer!

I'm excited to announce that for the next few months I'll be guest designing for I Heart {ippity}! I found out I was chosen to be a guest designer by my {ippity} chick Heather Flaherty about six weeks ago and have been patiently containing my excitement until I could post my first card. :) I'll be guest designing twice a month until October so expect to be seeing some cards made with fabulous {ippity} stamps! :)

My first guest designer card was made using the Courage Is My Strength stamp set.

It's been a while since I've used vellum and when I saw the stamp I just knew I wanted to stamp it on vellum. 

Here's a complete list of what I used to make the card:

- Black cardstock, vellum, and patterned papers from The Bella Armoire stack by DCWV (the sentiment is also from the stack)

- Cuttlebug with the D'vine Swirl embossing folder

- Cricut machine with the Elegant Edges cartridges used to cut the butterfly frame

- White pearls and black rhinestones

- Unity butterfly stamp with black ink
