I am seriously in awe that the 4th of July is only two days away! WHERE has this year gone?! And now with all the Christmas in July stuff going on, it just makes me realize how quickly Christmas and the holidays will be here! Maybe I do need to use this month to get a head start on those holiday cards...
Anyways, back to the 4th! I'd like to share with you a fun, 3D firecracker I made for this week's Anything Goes challenge at Peachy Keen stamps!
The firecracker is a cut from the Silhouette store, and it stands about 4 inches high, not including the twine, which adds about another inch or so. It would make a great centerpiece! The faces on the stars are from Peachy Keen's PK-1321 In the Garden Faces stamp set. I love them! I also used Diamond Ice Stickles to give the polka dots some sparkle.
The star on the top of the box is embellished with White Opal and Royal Blue Liquid Pearls. The stars on the sides of the firecracker also have Liquid Pearls. The twine is from The Twinery, I believe the colors are Denim and Maraschino.
